History & creation
Angers, 2008. The idea of starting a business began to take root in Anne's mind during high school. In 2008, she and three friends dreamed of creating a clothing brand.Together, they even combined their initials to give a name to their dream: RomeyAnnFine.
Unfortunately, this project remained stagnant for over fourteen years...
Years passed and the paths of the four young adults diverged.
But in Anne's mind, the project she created with her friends at the age of 17 remained in the back of her mind until 2021.
That year, she decided to take the plunge to bring this entrepreneurial dream to life, in a completely different field: cosmetics!
Passionate about the wellness and beauty industry, she embarked on the adventure by founding KaritéForever.
Although based on the predominant ingredient she uses in her formulas, the name lacked appeal for her European audience.
She decided to come closer to her teenage dream:
Ann'Fine Skincare was born! "Ann" in the English style reminds her of her years as a London student, and she keeps "Fine" which links to the wellness and beauty her products provide.
The brand
In 2020, Ann 'Fine Skincare was born for Anne, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Having always had very sensitive skin with frequent allergies to many conventional products, she took the initiative to found her own natural, organic, ethical, and respectful cosmetics brand for atopic skin like hers.
Creating the most natural care possible makes sense for the young entrepreneur, but she also wants to act on a larger scale by producing products that are not tested on animals, derived from organic agriculture and eco-friendly.
In addition to helping people with sensitive skin, she therefore decides to use shea butter and hibiscus oil as raw materials, extracted and manufactured manually by women in West and Central Africa.
Historical and symbolic, this decision allows her to resonate more strongly in the sorority sphere by helping the workers of this cooperative. And a whole range is finally created.
But why these ingredients?
Because Ann'Fine Skincare only uses natural, quality ingredients tolerated by sensitive skin.
Thus, our choice was immediately focused on the combination of shea butter, used for hundreds of years for its nourishing, softening, and protective properties, and hibiscus or bissap oil, which brings soothing and softness to the skin with its light, non-allergenic natural fragrance.

At Ann'fine Skincare, all of our suppliers are carefully selected for their ethical and ecological practices, as well as their organic certifications.
Our body care products are all formulated with shea butter and hibiscus oil, which we source from the north of Côte d'Ivoire and Egypt.
While we source these high-quality ingredients from Africa, we produce all of our products in our laboratory in Alsace, France.
We are committed to local production, and we also prioritize the use of beeswax and vegetable glycerin produced in France to minimize our carbon footprint.
Although our company is only based in France, we ship internationally to bring our natural and ethical skincare products to all skin types.
